Hena Ayisha is an Associate at TLP Advisors with a keen interest in emerging and disruptive technologies and the regulations surrounding them. Since joining the firm, she has worked extensively on drafting memorandums of advice for corporate structuring and conducted regulatory analyses on virtual assets across various jurisdictions. She has developed a thorough knowledge of the regulatory approach of different virtual asset regulators in the UAE, enabling her to manage end-to-end licensing processes for virtual asset service providers, including drafting of policies and advising on regulatory compliance requirements. Her experience includes drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, furthering her expertise in the legal and regulatory needs of technology-focused businesses. During law school, Hena delved into intellectual property and technology laws, gaining hands-on experience with firms supporting start-ups in the tech space. She remains passionate about AI’s evolution and its legal implications, consistently seeking to bridge the gap between innovation and regulation. Outside of work, Hena can be found with a book in one hand, a crossword puzzle in the other, while listening to music ranging from Broadway musicals to alternative rock to Bollywood and everything in between.
